At Mountainview Game Ranch, our emphasis is on attentive personal service within our tranquil atmosphere. We pride ourselves in meeting the individual needs of our guests.

Mountainview Game Ranch offers a wide variety of accommodations to suit your family’s or business’ particular needs. With our full range of appointments, our guests can decide what degree of luxury and comfort they prefer. You may choose between:

  • fully appointed villas
  • luxury ridge-top tents
  • rustic Bush camp tents
  • the Bushman's Guesthouse for large groups, reunions and conferences
  • the Ranch House for families, large groups and conferences



For the discerning guest, our intimate villas offer luxury accommodations with queen size beds, private gardens, braai (barbeque) areas and swimming pool close by. Each villa has its own mini-kitchen complete with mini-bar, microwave, small refrigerator, TV and coffee or tea service. En suite bathrooms and ceiling fans ensure total comfort. The ridge-top setting commands stunning views of the Waterberg Mountains and our peaceful Sun Valley.

The Leopard Villa features a large living area and magnificent view of the mountains. Step right outside the door and into the pool. Sleeps from 2 to 4 people.

The Cheetah (or "honeymoon") Villa is light, airy and spacious. It features a large bath area, and sitting room appointed in wicker. Sleeps 2.

The cozy Impala Villa sleeps 2. This charming structure features a bed swathed with netting and a stone floor.

Our newest villa is the Kudu. It has its own patio and intimate quarters beneath a vaulted thatched ceiling.

 



Your choice of Luxury or Bush tents. All tents are fully equipped to meet your every need. The Bush Camp is fully serviced with braai areas including a pizza oven and refrigerators. A beckoning Jacuzzi provides a welcome indulgence.

 

Luxury Tents
Our 3 Luxury tents sleep up to 4 people each and feature mini-bars, small refrigerators, electrical outlets, private bathroom facility and a Jacuzzi. The welcoming braai areas are created from indigenous rock. The full view of spectacular sunrises and sunsets also affords commanding views of wild game movements.

Bush Tents
Bush tents sleep up to 4 people each and are located in a more isolated camp. Each tent has its own braai. Ablution areas are shared amongst the 3 bush tents, and are fully equipped with sinks, toilets, and wood-heated showers. The Bush tents allow the closest contact with the landscape, enabling you to truly feel a part of it.


 



The Guesthouse sleeps 9-10 people in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, making it perfect for families. One bedroom is on the opposite end of the house from the others, and has a private bathroom. The house has its own fully equipped indoor kitchen. Or you may choose to dine at the Lodge - the choice is yours! We just ask that you let us know in advance so that we may best serve you.

 


This large, open space sleeps 10-12 in camp style. It has a Western theme, complete with lanterns and denim, and is perfect for large groups and families. Features a mini-kitchen and 2 bathrooms with showers.


 


Guests may choose between delightful local traditional cuisine offered by our well-trained staff, headed by our western chef (an American culinary school graduate who has come to us by way of several 5-star resorts) or feasting on a braai we prepare for you with a wide variety of meats complemented by traditional local dishes. For those who prefer a self-catering option, excellent facilities are available.

 

Dining at the spacious Nataba Lodge is a sumptuous experience. Our wine cellar contains vintages to please any palate. Relax before or after dining by the Lodge’s two fireplaces, at our bar or in the library, shoot a friendly game of pool, or catch up with the world via satellite TV.
